The Continuing Client Process
the one-week follow-up experience
01. BOOK YOUR PROJECT
Using the booking request form, tell us which project you’d like to book next and your ideal date. Then, I’ll reply with our next available project date (hopefully it’s the one you’re looking for!) and the final price for your project. If that all sounds good, you’ll receive a project invoice and agreement. Then, you know the drill: you’re booked!
02. GATHER YOUR INFO
Once your project is booked, you’ll receive a form (much shorter than that pre-writing deep dive, I promise!) to fill out. It will be specific to your project and help you collect the information that will help us create quality content for you. Remember, we aren’t wizards or mind-readers, and we can only write from what you share. So, this step is vital!
03. RESPOND TO ANY QUESTIONS
As your project date approaches, we’ll read through everything you’ve shared. But we might notice there is something missing or a hole that needs to be filled in order for us to write the content of your dreams. We’ll be in touch to ask any follow-up questions, and we ask that you respond by Monday of your project week to avoid pesky delays.
04. SIT BACK AND RELAX
In the heart of your project week, there’s absolutely nothing at all we need from you! We’ll be researching and writing away on your content. If any additional questions arise, we’ll be in touch, but thanks to all of our earlier info-gathering, we should have everything we need. So, just enjoy your week, until it’s time for edits!
05. REQUEST YOUR EDITS
Just like your initial project, this project comes with 24 hours for edits. We’ll drop all of your new content into the same doc we used for your website copy, and on Friday morning edits begin! You’ll have a full day to leave as many comments as you like, requesting as many changes as you like. And by the end of the day, the content is all yours!
06. PUT THOSE PUPPIES TO USE!
Don’t let your content just sit sad and lonely in your doc forever! The next and most important step is to put this new goodness to use. And you can begin using it as early as Saturday of your project week. And don’t forget to show us how everything came together! We love to see the content we help you create out in the wild doing it’s thang!
